Hospitality sales professionals use a flat list daily. But how do they create one?

Do you know what a flat list is? It’s a list of previously unsold accounts that you’ve never done business with. 

Last week we held a live webinar for hospitality sales pros titled “Identifying New Accounts.” It was a smashing success.We had participants from all over North America, and for an hour I was able to teach people of myriad of ways to find those new accounts that would be a good match for their hotels. I gave an exhaustive list of resources and ideas of how to find those potential new clients.

Just as important, however, was my teaching on how to research and prepare to approach those potential clients.

After all, knowing WHO to call on is just half the battle. Knowing HOW to call on them is the other half. So we spent lots of time examining how to do just that.
